Everything you’d want to know before we work together. If your question isn’t here, just ask.
My voice over work spans across commercials and brand content, gaming (character and narrative), corporate videos, live announce (VOG), explainer videos, documentaries and more. My credits include major titles like Starfield, Fallout 76, and Dead by Daylight, as well as campaigns for clients including Google and Microsoft. You can see the full range on my services page.
Yes – demos are available on my portfolio across multiple genres. If you don’t hear something that fits your specific need, just ask. I’m happy to provide a custom read from your script.
Yes. If you’re not ready to book yet, you can request a complimentary audition – I’ll record a custom read from your script so you can hear exactly how your copy sounds in my voice.
The best way to start is by clicking the “Start A Project” button which will direct you to my brief intake form. Alternatively you can reach out through my contact page with a brief description of your project – the type of content, approximate word count or script length, planned usage, your timeline, and any reference points for tone or style. I’ll get back to you quickly to discuss next steps.
Clients and casting directors have described my voice a lot of ways. Here are the words that come up most:
Authentic · Authoritative · Real · Raw · Approachable · Elegant · Edgy · Gravitas · Intelligent · Raspy · Sultry · Elder Millennial · Casual Smart · Conversational · Confident and Kind · Knowledgeable · Warm · Comedic · Inspiring · Sassy · Swagger · Bold
Yep! My style emulates a number of celebrity voices, some I’ve even done actual soundalike work for. If you’re looking for a voice like one of these, you’re in the right place:
Alicia Keys · Angela Bassett · Aubrey Plaza · Awkwafina · Danai Gurira · Dominique Fishback · Emma Stone · Ilana Glazer · Issa Rae · Jane Lynch · Janelle Monae · Jasmine Crockett · Jessica Williams · Jennifer Hudson · Keke Palmer · Kerry Washington · Lena Waithe · Lizzo · Maya Rudolph · Michelle Obama · Nicole Byer · Quinta Brunson · Rashida Jones · Regina King · Scarlett Johansson · Taraji P Henson · Tessa Thompson · Tracee Ellis Ross · Uzo Aduba · Viola Davis · Yvonne Orji · Zazie Beetz · Zoe Kravitz · Zoe Saldana
I record in a professional, broadcast-quality home studio. You’ll receive clean, production-ready audio…no background noise, no room tone issues. If you really wanna nerd out, here’s a list of the equipment that makes up my signal chain:
I deliver high quality audio WAV or MP3 files – whichever your production workflow requires. I usually deliver files in 44.1k/16 bit but can also deliver 48k/24 bit files for projects that demand film level audio quality. Just let me know your specs upfront and I’ll match them.
Yes – just mention your deadline when you reach out. If we work together in a live directed session, I’ll send the full unedited session file minutes after we finish.
Rates vary based on project type, product category, script length, and media usage. Media usage details needed include whether the recording will be used in any paid media or if all usage is unpaid/organic. If the VO will be used in paid media, I’d need to know what geomarkets/DMAs will be targeted, how long the voice over will be run in paid media, and on what platforms it will be run. Common platforms include linear TV, terrestrial radio, streaming radio, OTT/CTV, paid social and YouTube pre roll.
Great resources for industry standard rates include the GVAA Rate Guide and Voiceover Resource Guide (VORG) that has a simple, easily digestible list of USA based actor’s union SAG-AFTRA rates. I’m happy to provide you with a custom quote once I have clear details around your project scope. I price fairly and transparently – no surprises.
Broadcast formats include linear/traditional TV (like cable), digital formats like Connected TV (CTV) and Over-The-Top (OTT), YouTube preroll, and boosted posts on social media. These types of paid placements typically ask for a location to geo-target for reach, and specify a time limit on how long the asset will run. Media used in this way requires payment to get more eyeballs or “reach” on content.
Non-broadcast formats feature content that has not been placed in any paid media. This includes organic website content, internal use content, e-learning assets, archival placement on social media, and so on. If you didn’t pay to have the audio or video displayed in a spot, it can generally be considered non-broadcast.

Yes. Beyond the booth, I host live events as a professional emcee and help brands sharpen their messaging before a script ever reaches a microphone. If your project needs a voice on stage – or a clearer message behind it – those pages have the details.
I’ve written about this in detail. Start with my blog post listing The 7 Best Tools for Professional Voiceover – my honest short list after ten years in the booth – then meet the 13 unexpected secret weapons I keep within arm’s reach during every session. Between those two posts, you’ll know exactly what belongs in your studio.
Train before you buy gear. Find a reputable coach, take classes (organizations like NAVA are a great starting point), and get to a conference like VO Atlanta or One Voice. Those rooms are full of people who started exactly where you are. I’m also putting together a dedicated resource area for voice actors right here on the site, so check back soon or sign up for my newsletter to hear when it’s available.
