Revisions

Corrected files for misreads are always provided at no additional charge.

If the script is recorded in a self-directed session, rate includes one round of minor pickups for tone, inflection, or points of emphasis.

Minor pickups are generally considered to be <20% of the original script. One round of minor revisions within 30 days of the original recording are included with the rate. Changes exceeding these parameters may incur additional session fees.

If voice over was recorded in a live directed session, pickups for changes in script, tone, inflection, or points of emphasis are billed at $250 per half hour of studio time.

Script changes greater than 20% but less than half of original script length are billed at 50% of the original rate.

Script changes of more than half of the original script length are considered a full re-read and are billed at the full original rate.

File Retention

Recording files will be submitted to Client digitally. Delivered recordings will be saved by Talent for a period of at least 12 months.

Payments

Default payment terms are Net 30. Should payment not be received within 30 days of the due date listed on the invoice, Talent shall have the option of charging interest at 24% per annum (2% per month) on the full balance due.

Licensing of the voice on delivered recordings for additional forms of media, categories (broadcast vs non-broadcast), targeted regions, and/or timeframes not listed on the contract and/or invoice may be available at an additional cost.

Non-broadcast usage is typically granted for 12 months with renewals at 110% of the original rate, unless otherwise stated on the contract and/or invoice.

Paid placement usage on web/social/new media shall be considered as broadcast usage unless otherwise stated on the contract and/or invoice.

Exclusivity

Exclusivity, as it pertains to voicing for competing brands, shall not be granted unless specifically stated on the contract and/or invoice.

Miscellaneous

Policy exceptions may be granted at Talent discretion. Flexibility within reason is always up for discussion.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage

Voice recording delivered is not authorized for use as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning or other data/algorithmic input for purposes of synthetic voice production unless licensure for that specific purpose is explicitly granted in writing. Recordings delivered may not be used to create an artificial voice model of any type, now or in the future, on any platforms or devices known or not yet known unless permission of the performer has been explicitly granted in writing.
